MARINE MAMMALS

TJP has designed LSS for every marine mammal on display in marine parks, zoos, and aquariums today including dolphins, belugas, polar bears, sea lions, orcas, walrus, sea otters, and many others. TJP is knowledgeable in the water quality preferences of captive marine mammals as well as regulatory requirements for maintaining these facilities. While in the past the greater emphasis was placed on water clarity and minimization of bacteria counts, today there is increasing concern with unwanted disinfection byproducts. TJP is working on the forefront of managing disinfection byproducts and has experience in working with the best marine mammal veterinarians and chemists in advancing the state-of-the-art water treatment for healthful marine mammal water quality.
