AMPHIBIANS & REPTILES

TJP has designed water treatment systems for a wide variety of amphibian and reptile species. Many of these exhibits involve multiple species in the exhibit and the life support system needs to account for a variety of animal requirements. For instance a single exhibit pool may contain crocodiles, fish, turtles and other species. These exhibits can have a higher demand for steady water temperature and disinfection for specific bacteria such as salmonella. Many times these exhibits have the opportunity for guest contact with the water and treatment is required for protection of public health without endangering the animals with residual disinfectants.
