Water treatment systems for zoological exhibits must consider both the animal waste and the system loading associated with animal activities.  For example, elephants and bears can bring a tremendous amount of vegetation, substrate, and enrichment into the exhibit pools. It is important these systems be designed to be efficient, reliable, and easy to clean

Zoo systems often include water effects like streams, waterfalls, and play jets to enhance the animals' environment. TJP has designed a number of systems to create specific visual effects for the visitors and to engage the animals.
