Senior Project Engineer
David has been a project engineer with TJP for 10 years. David is responsible for developing process diagrams and equipment schedules based on design criteria; researching current technology for final equipment selections; coordinating with other consultants on design teams from preliminary stages through construction; cost estimating and modifying LSS design to meet project budgets; engineering calculations related to temperature control and system hydraulics; writing technical reports; and developing company standards for construction documents. David also provides construction administration services reviewing submittals and responding to contractor RFIs.
David has been a key contributor to TJP’s work at Antalya Water Park & Dolphinarium, Birch Aquarium, Bass Pro Shop, Brookfield Zoo, Chimelong Marine Park, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Dallas Zoo, Galveston Sealife Center, Georgia Aquarium, Houston Zoo, Jacksonville Zoo, Kansas City Zoo, Lincoln Park Zoo, Little Rock Zoo, Louisville Zoo, Los Angeles Zoo, Maryland Zoo, Miami Zoo, Moody Gardens Aquarium, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Oregon Zoo, San Diego Zoo, New York Aquarium, Sea World Parks, Wild Animal Park, Wanda Nanchang Aquarium and others.
David graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors in Engineering Science and with a Masters in Costal and Oceanographic Engineering. David is also registered as a Professional Civil Engineer for the state of California.
His hobbies include traveling, surfing, wake boarding, skate boarding, snow boarding, mountain biking, hiking, wilderness camping and offroading.
