TJP
staff have worked on several theme park projects involving water
effects and water rides. Our recent ride and effect experience
includes:
• Sea World
California’s Journey to Atlantis
• Sea World
California’s Shipwreck Rapids
• Sea World Florida’s
Expansion 2009
• Sea World
California’s Expansion 2010
• Busch Garden’s Tampa
Rhino Rally
• Colorado’s Ocean
Journey Flash Flood
Our systems maintain
the ride water to be safe for human contact and aesthetically
pleasing. Typically ride water features are treated to or beyond
local swimming pool codes.
Also, it is often important to consider odors associated with the
effect water so processes like ozonation and carbon filtration are
implemented to avoid the chlorine or chemical smell often associated
with water features. Design of these treatment systems also requires
considerable coordination with the ride designers and site
architects to make sure our systems integrate with the ride or
effect intent and are invisible to the visiting public.
Our designs have also included water for the various effects ranging
from dump buckets and pop jets to dramatic “flash floods.” These
features are integrated with the ride theming to enhance the guest
experience. |
